Who's Backing the Round
The round was co-led by Sandeep Varaganti, CEO of JioMart, and Dr. Ashok Agrawal, SVP at Axis Bank, joined by a group of high-net-worth individuals. It follows ZeroMoblt's organic growth across 147 pincodes in Hyderabad since its April 2024 founding by Vijay Ganagam and Alfred Lazarus.
Who Is Sandeep Varaganti
Varaganti has been CEO of JioMart, Reliance Retail's e-commerce arm, since 2022, working closely with Isha Ambani. His path there ran through Cognizant and Amazon before he became CEO of Prione - the Amazon and Catamaran Ventures joint venture that helps small Indian businesses sell online. He holds a B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from JNTU Hyderabad and an MBA from INSEAD in France. Under his leadership, JioMart became India's second-largest quick-commerce player by December 2025, crossing 1.6 million daily orders across more than 3,100 stores in over 1,200 cities - behind Blinkit, ahead of Swiggy Instamart. It's the kind of operator lending their name to a company most people haven't heard of yet - a bet on the numbers, not just the pitch.
The funds will be used to accelerate development of its AI-native technology, expand operations, and build out its infrastructure roadmap.

What's Next
Beyond Hyderabad, ZeroMoblt has laid out plans to expand across Bengaluru, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Chennai, and Mumbai - scaling the same decentralised, Edge-AI-powered safety and route-optimization layer that runs today's network.
