About HYSEA
HYSEA - the Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association - was founded in 1991 by 15 entrepreneurs and has since grown into what it describes as the premier industry association for Telangana's IT sector, representing over 90% of the export revenue and workforce across the region's IT/ITeS companies, Global Capability Centres, and startups. It's a non-profit built around a specific mission: positioning Hyderabad as a leading intellectual and innovation capital, run through a 15-member Managing Committee and ten industry councils spanning AI & Emerging Tech, Cybersecurity, GCCs, and startup growth.
A 33-Year-Old Summit
The award was presented at HYSEA's 33rd Annual Summit & Awards, held at HICC Hyderabad in partnership with STPI Hyderabad and the Telangana ITE&C Department. The 2026 edition drew over 1,200 attendees - tech leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, analysts, and investors - and doubled as the launch for a coffee-table book on Hyderabad's IT journey, a joint technology-destination report with the Telangana government, KPMG, and CBRE, and an AI-adoption study produced with PwC.

Startup winners selected
This year's cohort was narrowed from 294 nominations - 272 startups and 32 established companies - by a jury of over 50 industry experts, entrepreneurs, and investors, down to 40 finalists who exhibited at the Summit Expo before ten startups were named winners.
What It Recognizes
The award sits alongside ZeroMoblt's other recent milestones - a pre-seed round backed by JioMart's CEO, and the Student-Centric Bharat launch at T-Hub - as part of the same story: a Hyderabad-built platform being recognized by the city's own tech and startup community, not just by outside press.
