Zero Now Powers the Cyberabad Student Mobility Program
The Society for Cyberabad Security Council's student transport program - TGSRTC buses, verified fleets, police-verified crews and live tracking - runs on Zero.
The Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) has partnered with ZeroMoblt to power the Cyberabad Student Mobility Program - a dedicated, technology-driven and regulated student transport infrastructure built to make daily commutes safer and more affordable for school and college students across Cyberabad. The program's own site says it plainly: "Powered by zero."

The Problem It Solves
The numbers behind the program are stark. A joint survey of 526 institutions covering 4.1 lakh students found that while 80% of institutions provide transport, only 30% of students actually use it. The rest arrive by private vehicle - nearly two lakh of them crowding school campuses during peak pick-up and drop hours, and 1.9 lakh squeezing onto the roads outside institutions within a single 15-minute dispersal window, as reported by Deccan Chronicle and Telangana Today.

This is not just a transport project. It is a long-term civic mobility reform for Cyberabad.
- Dr. M. Ramesh, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad
Cyberabad Police set out four pillars for the program: congestion - taking pressure off school zones at peak hours; safety - secure, end-to-end student travel; compliance - standardised driver training and fleet protocols, with TGSRTC and the RTA; and affordability - pooled transport that also creates livelihood opportunities.
How the Program Works
Fleet
Routes are run on TGSRTC buses alongside verified private institutional fleets - dedicated, compliant buses for the daily commute, plus a taxi pool option.
Safety
A fully police-verified ecosystem: strict background checks for drivers, attendants and supervisors.
Tracking
Zero's AI-native platform, with Edge AI and real-time GPS, lets parents follow boarding, drop-off and the exact trip location through an integrated app.
Pricing
A subscription priced by pickup point and campus, covering the academic year and payable in two instalments. Registration takes under three minutes.
Launched With the Cyberabad Police
The program was launched in May 2026 by the Cyberabad police commissionerate together with SCSC, which is chaired by the Cyberabad Police Commissioner. More than 750 representatives from over 500 educational institutions were briefed on the integrated system - one platform connecting schools, parents, transport operators and civic authorities. The wider plan, as reported, links participating vehicles to CCTV monitoring through the police Command and Control Centre, and brings in trained, police-verified gig workers, ASHA workers and Anganwadi staff as attendants and mobility supervisors.
Together, we continue to strengthen public-private partnerships for a safer, smarter Cyberabad.

The First Campuses
Among the first participating institutions listed on the program site: St. Ann's School in Kompally, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Public School at BHEL, Sanghamitra School in Kukatpally, Oakridge International School in Gachibowli, MGIT, and CBIT.
For ZeroMoblt, it's the Student-Centric Bharat idea made concrete: student mobility treated as public infrastructure - verified, monitored and shared - rather than a patchwork of vans and private cars at the school gate.
